REVOLUTION PREGAME LIVE
Tuesday, November 30 | 6 p.m.
Elizabeth Pehota and Jeff Lemieux will be joined by special guest Taylor Twellman to break down all the major storylines on Revolution Pregame Live, available live at 6 p.m. ahead of Tuesday evening's playoff clash against New York City FC on the Revolution’s official Facebook and YouTube channels, as well as www.revolutionsoccer.net.

RECENT FORM VS. NEW YORK CITY FC

The New England Revolution will host New York City FC in the Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Semifinals on Tuesday night at Gillette Stadium. It will be the 20th overall meeting in this series since NYCFC joined the league as an expansion side in 2015, and the first time these two sides have met in the postseason.

Finishing No. 1 in the league and winning the 2021 Supporters' Shield, the Revolution earned a first-round bye and will play their first playoff match this year in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Meanwhile, New York City FC, as the No. 4 seed in the East, are coming off a 2-0 win over Atlanta United FC at Yankee Stadium that punched their ticket to Foxborough. MLS Golden Boot winner Valentín Castellanos and Alexander Callens scored a goal apiece only four minutes apart, as NYCFC capitalized to punish Atlanta early in the second half.

The Revs and NYCFC squared off three times in the regular season, with the Revs going 2-1-0, only dropping points in their road match in the Bronx. New York City FC has struggled somewhat on the road in the 2021 season, finishing 4-8-5, including a 2-1 loss at Gillette Stadium in mid-September.

While the Revs have already set a new MLS single-season points record (73), a new points-per-game record (2.15), a club-best road record (10-3-4), and earned the 2021 Supporters' Shield, finishing No. 1 in the league by 12 points, the true time to show their talent will be in the playoffs as the club vies for their first-ever MLS Cup.

It’s do-or-die in single-game elimination matches starting on Tuesday, with only three games standing between the squad and their first MLS Cup title.

With quite literally everything on the line, this will be a battle that you won’t want to miss.

Overall Record vs. NYCFC: 9-6-4
Home Record vs. NYCFC: 5-2-2

SHOW YOUR COLORS

The Revs will be sporting "The Original," New England's primary kit designed as a nod to the club's original 1996 look. The sleek white stripe across the jersey echoes the angled stripes across the '96 kit, while the blue top is complemented by red shorts similar to those worn by the Revolution's first-ever squad.
