FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution II have signed goalkeeper Keegan Meyer to the team’s USL League One roster pending league and federation approval. Meyer, the 11th player signed to the Revolution II roster, was selected by the Revolution with the 43rd-overall pick in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.

Meyer, 22, embarks on his professional career with Revolution II after starting all four seasons during his college career at High Point University. The six-foot-three goalkeeper totaled 74 appearances and set a program record with 27 shutouts. He finished his Panthers career with three straight All-Big South First Team honors, as well as two USC All-Region selections. As a redshirt senior last fall, Meyer played every minute of the Panthers’ 20 matches, posting a 13-7 record with seven shutouts, 75 saves, and a .743 save percentage.

The Silver Spring, Md. native enjoyed a breakout campaign as a redshirt junior, posting a 13-3-2 record, seven shutouts, and a conference-best 0.997 goals against average. Meyer recorded a career-high eight shutouts as a redshirt sophomore. He played high school soccer at the esteemed DeMatha High School in Maryland, finishing his career with a 0.24 goals against average, and played club soccer with the Baltimore Celtics

The Revolution II roster now stands at 11 players with the addition of Meyer, the first goalkeeper signed by the team.
