FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (November 6, 2026) – New England Revolution midfielder Brooklyn Raines, defender Ethan Kohler, and Josh Wynder have been selected for international duty by the United States Under-23 Men’s National Team. The Stars and Stripes will play friendly matches against Scotland (Nov. 15) and Ukraine (Nov. 17) during a training camp in Pinatar, Spain in preparation for the LA 2028 Summer Olympics. Raines has made 30 appearances, with 29 starts, entering the final match of his first season in New England. The Chicago native has tallied four assists with one goal scored. The 21-year-old, ranked No. 10 in the 2026 MLS 22 Under 22 Class, owns 75 total MLS appearances, including 68 starts, between his four seasons with Houston Dynamo FC and one in New England.
Raines collected his United States senior national team debut during the September/October FIFA window after featuring extensively at the youth levels. This past June, Raines was also called up by the United States Under-21 National Team for its training camp in Slovenia. Raines, Kohler, and Wynder all featured together for the United States Under-20 National Team during the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile, where they played under current New England Head Coach Marko Mitrović and helped the U.S. reach the Quarterfinal Round.
Kohler, 21, has started 28 of his 29 appearances during his first MLS campaign. The California native currently leads MLS with a 95.6 percent passing accuracy (min. 1,500 minutes played), including three games with a perfect completion rate. Kohler earned his first professional assist in a 4-2 win over Orlando City on September 19.
The center back collects his second call-up to the U.S. Under-23 side during this Olympic cycle after suiting up for a pair of friendly matches last November. Overall, Kohler has collected over 20 youth caps for the United States at various age levels, including 14 appearances with the U-20 side where he featured in the 2024 Concacaf U-20 Championship and started four times at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, all alongside Wynder in central defense.
Wynder joined the Revolution on loan from Portuguese side SL Benfica in September, quickly earning a place in the starting lineup for seven of his nine MLS appearances to date. The 21-year-old has twice been selected to the MLS Team of the Matchday, and recorded the first goal-and-assist performance of his professional career on October 14 at FC Cincinnati.
The Louisville native owns 20 youth international caps, including appearances for the United States Under-20 squad at both the 2023 and 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He started in all five games during last year's tournament in Chile. Wynder registered his first senior international call-up in April 2023 for a friendly match against Mexico.
