MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi | Revs trio honored after pair of wins

Team of the Week | Turner, Gil, Farrell

Two shutouts.
Two wins.
Six points.
Three players on the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi.

A trio of New England Revolution players earned league-wide honors for Week 20 of the MLS season, highlighted by a pair of shutout wins over Vancouver Whitecaps FC (4-0) and FC Cincinnati (2-0).

Carles Gil led the way for the Revolution offensively, notching two goals and two assists in the pair of matches, including the game-winning assist against Vancouver and the game-winning goal against Cincinnati. With seven goals and eight assists - both team-leading totals for the Revs - the 26-year-old Spaniard is one of the favorites for MLS Newcomer of the Year in 2019.

Matt Turner was recognized as the league's top goalkeeper this week as he kept opponents off the board for 180 minutes, including a seven-save effort to register his second shutout of the week - and third of the season - in Cincinnati.

Andrew Farrell also played a key role in New England's pair of shutout victories, going the full 180 minutes in central defense and preventing the Whitecaps from registering a shot on target last Wednesday night.
