FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (November 2, 2023) – The New England Revolution Academy closed the month of October by playing Inter Miami CF and BW Gottschee in MLS NEXT action last weekend.

The U-19s earned a 2-1 win over BW Gottschee on Sunday with TJ Kahoalii (2006 – Whitman, Mass.) tallying the game-tying goal in the 76th minute and Alex Parvu (2005 – Cumberland – R.I.) notching the game-winner in the 86th minute. Olger Escobar (2006 – Malden, Mass.) recorded the assist on Parvu’s goal, marking the UnitedHealthcare Revolution Academy Player of the Year’s second point in as many appearances with the U-19s this season.

The U-17s opened their weekend with a 2-0 win over Inter Miami CF. Owen Beninga (2007 – Jackson, W.Y.) earned the clean sheet with Cristiano Oliveira (2008 – Somerville, Mass.) and Bryan Norena (2008 – Revere, Mass.) making up the goal scorers. Oliveira went on to record a brace on Sunday in the U-17s 3-2 loss to BW Gottschee. 

The U-15s fell to Inter Miami CF, 5-0, on Saturday, and bounced back on Sunday, earning a 3-2 win over BW Gottschee. Judah Siqueira (2009 – South Easton, Mass.) notched a brace while Paolo Tornberg Ayala (2009 – Revere, Mass.) scored the eventual game-winner in the 50th minute.

Kenny Mills (2009 – Brockton, Mass.), David Sellars (2010 – Holbrook, Mass.), and Kauan De Campos (2010 – East Providence, R.I.) all found the back of the net in the U-14s 3-2 win over BW Gottschee while Arthur Bernardino (2011 – Shirley, Mass.) tallied the lone goal in the U-13s’ 1-0 win in their match vs. BW Gottschee on Sunday. Charles Wallace (2010 – Burlington, V.T.) earned the start in net for the team’s clean sheet victory.
