NEW YORK CITY & FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (Oct. 29, 2026) – Major League Soccer and the New England Revolution today announced the schedule for the 2027 MLS Sprint Season, the fast-paced competition that will launch the league’s transition into its new summer-to-spring calendar that aligns its schedule with the world’s top soccer leagues. New England’s 2027 MLS Sprint Season begins on the road on Saturday, February 20 at Orlando City SC. The Sprint Season home opener at Gillette Stadium is scheduled for Saturday, February 27 against D.C. United, a 2:00 p.m. ET kickoff in Foxborough. The Revolution’s Sprint Season concludes with a home match on Saturday, May 8 vs. Columbus Crew at 5:00 p.m. ET. In addition to D.C. and Columbus, the Revolution will host Charlotte FC (March 6), CF Montreal (March 21), Inter Miami CF (March 27), New York City FC (April 17), and Atlanta United FC (April 21).

The stakes will be higher than ever for the accelerated regular season, which is available on Apple TV in more than 100 countries and regions, offering fans a single destination to watch their favorite teams with no blackouts. During the Sprint Season, each MLS club will face its 14 conference opponents once, playing seven matches at home and seven on the road. With intra-conference and regional rivalries every matchday, the intensity will be at full tilt from opening day through Decision Day 2027 on May 8.

After the 14-game regular season, the top eight teams in each of the two conferences will qualify for the Audi 2027 MLS Cup Playoffs. In each conference, the postseason will be played in a single-elimination bracket format to determine a conference champion. The Eastern and Western Conference champions will meet in 2027 MLS Cup presented by Audi on Memorial Day Weekend. The complete postseason schedule will be announced at a later date. In addition to crowning an MLS Cup champion, the 2027 MLS Sprint Season will also have international competition implications, determining qualification for the 2028 Concacaf Champions Cup and 2028 Leagues Cup.
