FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (October 21, 2026) – The New England Revolution Academy Under-18, Under-16, and Under-15 teams continued their respective 2026 MLS NEXT fall slates against Seacoast United on Saturday, October 17, at the Revolution Training Center.

The U-18s mounted a late comeback effort but ultimately fell to Seacoast United on Saturday, 3-2. After the visitors built a three-goal advantage with goals in the 18th, 23rd, and 53rd minutes, defender Josh Macedo (2009 - Willowbrook, Ill.) cut into the deficit with his first goal of the season in the 58th minute. In the final minutes of the match, midfielder Chris Scott (2010 - North Tonawanda, N.Y.) pulled one back for New England in the 88th minute, but the hosts were unable to find an equalizer before the final whistle.

The U-16s headlined the weekend with a 3-0 shutout victory over Seacoast United, highlighted by forward Arthur Bernardino's (2011 - Shirley, Mass.) three goal contributions. Bernardino opened the scoring in the eighth minute, before setting up Kai Nielsen's (2011 - Concord, Mass.) goal in the 35th minute. The Shirley, Mass. native then completed his brace in the 50th minute, off a feed from Ayden Gomes (2012 - Bridgewater, Mass.). Goalkeeper London Stern (2011 - West Hills, Calif.) collected his first clean sheet of the season.

The U-15s were defeated by Seacoast United, 5-2, on Saturday. Following a four-goal effort from Seacoast in the first 62 minutes, midfielder Asher Cotter (2012 - Arlington, Mass.) converted a pass from Jad Lechheb (2012 – Revere, Mass.) in the 80th minute to get New England on the scoresheet. Midfielder Marlon Quijada (2012 – Ashland, Mass.) added another five minutes later before Seacoast netted a 90th-minute goal to cap the scoring.

The U-18s, U-16s, and U-15s visit fellow MLS academy the Philadelphia Union on Saturday, October 24, at WSFS Bank SportsPlex. The U-14s and U-13s return to action against Bayside FC at the Revolution Training Center on Sunday, October 25. CLICK HERE to learn more about the New England Revolution Academy.
