FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (October 6, 2023) – New England Revolution midfielder Noel Buck, a native of Arlington, Mass., has been named to the England Men’s Under-19 National Team for October’s qualifying matches for the 2023-24 UEFA Under-19 European Championship. After New England takes on Orlando City SC this Saturday (7:30 p.m. – FREE on Apple TV), the Revolution Homegrown Player will join Head Coach Simon Rusk’s Young Lions for matches against Montenegro (Oct. 11), Wales (Oct. 14), and Austria (Oct. 17).

This marks Buck’s second call-up by the England Youth National Team, putting the Revolution Academy product in esteemed company as one of only a few American-born players to be called in by England at any level. On this 21-player roster, Buck is the only player based at a club outside of Europe, and one of two playing outside of the United Kingdom. In his first camp with England last month, Buck made two appearances, scoring in his first start for the U-19s in a friendly against Switzerland.

In MLS this season, Buck has tallied three goals over 23 league appearances, including 18 starts. Since making his senior team debut in 2022, he has totaled 30 appearances, four goals, and one assist in MLS action. A member of the Revolution Academy since age 12, the USA-England dual national also gained valuable professional experience with New England’s second team, Revolution II, in MLS NEXT Pro.

Buck and the Revolution enter the final three-game stretch of the 2023 MLS regular on Saturday night on the road at Orlando City SC. Watch Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. ET match FREE on Apple TV in English and Spanish or listen on the radio at 98.5 The Sports Hub (WBZ-FM) and 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA (Portuguese).
