WHAT TO WATCH FOR VS. COLORADO RAPIDS

TEAM NOTES

  • New England and Colorado, two of the 10 original MLS clubs, will face off for a 49th time in regular season play, having last met in 2023.
  • The Revolution are unbeaten in their last six home meetings with Colorado (5-0-1) dating back to 2011, including five consecutive victories.
  • New England is 5-2-3 in its last 10 home matches against the Western Conference, and unbeaten in seven straight.

  • M Carles Gil became the 12th Revolution player to log 15,000 minutes played in MLS for the club in the team's latest outing on June 25.
  • Gil has logged 11 goal contributions in the last 13 games. He is now six goal contributions away from tying Taylor Twellman (129) for the club record.
  • Gil has assisted two goals in three career meetings with Colorado.

LEO CAMPANA | FORWARD #9

  • F Leo Campana is back in the starting lineup for the ninth time this season, one game after returning from injury with a 25-minute shift on June 25 vs. Nashville.
  • Since the start of 2023, only Lionel Messi (32) and Campana (30) have at least 30 goals scored in fewer than 5,500 minutes played.
  • In 90 regular season games, Campana has scored 30 MLS goals, including two this season.

  • GK Aljaž Ivačič has seven clean sheets this season, a new career high and tied for fourth most in MLS.

  • F Tomás Chancalay is coming off the first goal-and-assist performance of his MLS career on June 25. The Argentine has recorded three goal contributions in his last five starts (2g, 1a).
  • M Matt Polster returns to action after missing Wednesday's match due to illness. The Revolution are 6-3-4 since the veteran midfielder returned from injury in March.
  • D Brandon Bye starts for a fifth time in MLS this season, his first since May 28 at D.C. United.
  • D Wyatt Omsberg makes the 50th start of his MLS career. The center back owns five MLS appearances for New England this season.
  • D Peyton Miller made his 20th Revolution start on June 25 against Nashville SC.

  • Revolution midfielder Matt Polster played for the Colorado Rapids Academy in 2010-11.
  • Rapids defender Sam Vines and Revolution midfielder Alhassan Yusuf both played at Royal Antwerp together from 2021-23.
  • Revolution forward Leo Campana and Colorado Rapids midfielder Connor Ronan both played for the Wolverhampton Wanderers from 2020-23 and were both loaned to the Grasshopper Club Zurich in 2021.
