FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (September 22, 2026) – New England Revolution midfielder Cristiano Oliveira has earned a call-up to the United States Under-19 Men's National Team. Oliveira is one of 20 players selected by Head Coach Rob Valentino for the upcoming international camp in Spain, where the United States will play friendly matches against Wales (Sept. 29), England (Oct. 2), and Norway (Oct. 5).
Oliveira earns his first call-up to the United States Under-19 Men’s National Team. He previously represented the United States at the Under-18, Under-17, Under-16, and Under-15 levels. The Homegrown Player from Somerville, Mass. started in two international friendlies against Portugal and Morocco for the Under-18s in March. Oliveira also competed in the 2025 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, making three appearances, including one start, and tallying a goal in a 7-0 win over St. Kitts & Nevis.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a standout campaign for Revolution II this season, helping the team secure a fifth-place finish in MLS NEXT Pro's Eastern Conference and a postseason appearance. During the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro campaign, Oliveira has tallied one goal, along with a career-high and team-best nine assists, and 52 key passes - seventh most in the league.
Oliveira also suited up for his MLS debut this season, entering as a second-half substitute at Charlotte FC on May 23. Oliveira also owns an additional three career appearances for the Revolution's senior team in U.S. Open Cup play.
New England, second in the Eastern Conference, is on the road this weekend, visiting Western Conference opponent Real Salt Lake on Saturday, September 26.
