Mayor Walsh to host viewing party At City Hall Plaza for United States vs. France in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup Quarterfinals

BOSTON - Tuesday, June 25, 2019 - Following yesterday’s win over Spain, Mayor Martin J. Walsh today announced that Boston City Hall Plaza will host a viewing party for the United States versus France game in the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The game starts at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28. 


The event will be free and open to all to attend. To ensure the safety of all visitors to City Hall Plaza, fans are encouraged to minimize the number of personal items they bring. All carried items are subject to inspection. Bags, backpacks, purses larger than a wristlet, coolers, umbrellas or weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited. 


Boston's City Hall Plaza is accessible by the MBTA Green, Blue, and Orange lines.
