RECENT FORM VS. FC CINCINNATI

The Revs and FC Cincinnati have been fit to be tied in recent years, drawing the last three meetings dating back to July 2022 including two stalemates at Gillette Stadium. Those three draws snapped a string of five consecutive victories for the Revs in all competitions, leaving them unbeaten against Cincinnati in eight meetings (5-0-3) since dropping their first-ever showdown in FCC's expansion season of 2019.

Giacomo Vrioni came off the bench to score his first goal of the season and help the Revs to a 1-1 draw at LD Alajuelense on Thursday night, completing a 5-1 aggregate win in the Concacaf Champions Cup Round of 16. That sets up an intriguing quarterfinal showdown with LIGA MX powerhouse Club América, kicking off with the first leg on Tuesday, April 2 at Gillette Stadium. That's where the Revs will be for their next three league games, as well, hosting Cincinnati (March 17), Chicago Fire FC (March 23), and Charlotte FC (April 6) in a bid to rack up their first points of the MLS campaign.

FC Cincinnati's defense of the Supporters' Shield is off to a solid start with one win and two draws from their first three league games, conceding just a single goal during that stretch. Like the Revs, FCC was on the road Thursday night in the Concacaf Champions Cup Round of 16, suffering a 2-1 loss to Monterrey in Leg 2 to complete a 3-1 defeat on aggregate. Pat Noonan's side, which fell in last year's Eastern Conference Final, will fully shift focus to league play.

Sunday's contest will finally close out the Revolution's stretch of eight games in 26 days to begin the season, as they'll be without a midweek match for the first time since the campaign began on February 21. They'll be home once again next Saturday afternoon when they'll host Chicago Fire FC at Gillette Stadium for a 2 p.m. ET kickoff.

Overall Record vs. FC Cincinnati: 5-1-3

SHOW YOUR COLORS

Sunday afternoon the Revolution will be wearing the "Boston Tea Party" kit, which will serve as the club's primary uniform for the 2024 and 2025 MLS seasons.

Inspired by Boston's proud history of positive defiance, the kit commemorates the recent 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in December 1773. The shirt design is highlighted by red and white vertical waves on the jersey's front, which represent the ripples in the Boston Harbor made by East India Training Company's tea creates as the American revolutionaries emptied 45 tons of tea into the water.

The navy jersey features red shoulders with three white stripes, a throwback to earlier Revolution jerseys, paired with navy shorts and navy socks, featuring red and white striping on top.
