RECENT FORM VS. CHARLOTTE FC

This will be just the seventh all-time meeting between the Revs and Charlotte FC, a series which began in Charlotte's expansion season in 2022. New England has the upper hand with a 4-2-0 mark in the previous six meetings, and the Revs had actually rattled off four straight wins in the series before their 4-0 loss in the most recent encounter at Bank of America Stadium last September.

Leo Campana and Ignatius Ganago scored their first goals with the Revolution and Carles Gil set the club's all-time assist record (74) in this past weekend's 2-0 win over New York City FC, a result that gives the Revs (3-4-1, 10 pts.) back-to-back shutout victories and a 3-1-0 record in their last four. While the attack has sparked to life in recent games, the new-look defense continues to look rock solid, having now conceded just seven goals through eight games.

Charlotte (6-2-1, 19 pts.) are also coming off back-to-back shutout victories and have now won three straight games to climb to the top of the Eastern Conference standings. Dean Smith's side has been particularly good at home, going 5-0-0 while outscoring opponents 13-2 at Bank of America Stadium, while they've now won eight consecutive games in Charlotte dating back to last season.

Saturday night's trip to Charlotte begins a stretch of four straight road games for the Revs, who'll visit Toronto FC (May 3) and Orlando City SC (May 10) in the coming weeks, with a short midweek journey to Rhode Island FC (May 7) for their return to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup sandwiched in between.

SHOW YOUR COLORS

Saturday night the Revs will be wearing the "Boston Tea Party" kit, which will serve as the club's primary uniform once again in 2025.

Inspired by Boston's proud history of positive defiance, the kit commemorates the recent 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in December 1773. The shirt design is highlighted by red and white vertical waves on the jersey's front, which represent the ripples in the Boston Harbor made by East India Training Company's tea creates as the American revolutionaries emptied 45 tons of tea into the water.

The navy jersey features red shoulders with three white stripes, a throwback to earlier Revolution jerseys, paired with navy shorts and navy socks, featuring red and white striping on top.
