RECENT FORM VS. TORONTO FC
Saturday night's battle at BMO Field will be the 35th overall meeting between the New England Revolution and Toronto FC, since the Reds joined the league in 2007.
New England has struggled against this Canadian side in recent history, as the Revs are winless against TFC dating back to September 2018, going 0-4-2 in their last six meetings. In their latest battle, Toronto took down the Revs, 3-2, at Gillette Stadium approximately five weeks ago. Toronto is one of only three teams that has beaten the league-leading Revolution this campaign.
This will be the Revs' first trip north of the border to play at Toronto FC in two-and-a-half years, with their last meeting at BMO Field in March of 2019 due to international travel restrictions throughout the pandemic.
Toronto sits at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, going 3-9-6 through 18 games, which puts them 25 points back of the Revolution in the East with a game in hand. TFC have won just once in their last six, but have taken seven total points going 1-1-4. The Reds are currently led by head coach Javier Pérez, who guided TFC to a win at Gillette Stadium on July 7, which is the only loss the Revolution have suffered in Foxborough this year.
The Revolution will look to extract revenge on their Canadian rivals away from home as they aim to continue their reign atop the league with 40 points going 12-3-4 through 19 games.
Overall Record vs. Toronto: 13-10-11
Away Record vs. Toronto: 3-6-5

SHOW YOUR COLORS
The Revs will be sporting their sleek new kits, which take inspiration from the block work of American Revolution Era war forts in the New England area. This kit also pays homage to The Fort - the club's dedicated supporters' sections at Gillette Stadium - and features a fort-inspired blocked white shirt with a monochromatic Revolution logo, white shorts, and sky blue socks.
You can own "The Fort" community kit by visiting the Gillette Stadium Pro Shop, or clicking HERE.
