FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution will look to start the home slate with five straight wins when they face off against the New York Red Bulls tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium. The match airs locally on WSBK-TV38 and myRITV, as well as on the radio at 98.5 The Sports Hub and WBIX 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA. Pregame coverage begins with “Revolution Kickoff” at 6:30 p.m. ET on TV38. The match is also available on ESPN+ for out-of-market viewers.

  • The Revolution’s Starting XI features three changes from the club’s most recent match, a 3-2 win at New York City FC last Saturday. Henry Kessler, Tajon Buchanan, and Teal Bunbury start in place of Jon Bell, Maciel, and Arnór Traustason.
  • Matt Turner, the MLS Player of the Week for Week 8, enters tonight’s match with a 2-2-2 all-time record against New York. Turner, who leads MLS goalkeepers in wins (6) this season, became the first Revolution goalie to win the honor and was joined on the MLS Team of the Week by midfielder Carles Gil and Sporting Director and Head Coach Bruce Arena.
  • Carles Gil makes his 50th MLS regular season appearance tonight and has recorded assists in a career-best four straight games entering the match. The 29-year-old Spaniard is pacing MLS in several categories including assists (7), chances created (50), big chances created (9), and chances created from set play (26).
  • Teal Bunbury returns to the Starting XI for the first time since May 16. Bunbury leads the team with four goals and five assists in 21 career games played against the Red Bulls. With tonight’s start, Bunbury is now two appearances shy of 300 for his MLS career.
  • Tajon Buchanan, who ranks fifth in MLS in fouls won (27) and first in fouls won in the attacking third (13), returns to the starting lineup for the first time since winning four caps with the Canada Men’s National Team in Concacaf World Cup Qualifying.
  • Gustavo Bou, set to make his 40th regular season appearance, owns three goals and one assist in three career games played against New York. The Argentinian striker trails Adam Buksa (4) by one goal for the team lead.
  • Matt Polster collects his 90th start in MLS tonight. The 28-year-old midfielder has appeared in every match this season, starting all but one, and ranks second on the team in possession won (60) and tackles won (14).
  • Tommy McNamara appears in New England’s Starting XI for the third straight game and has played in every match this season. The New York native delivered the game-winning goal, his first goal in a Revolution uniform, in the 88th minute of last Saturday’s win at NYCFC.
  • Henry Kessler, who grew up in New York City and spent time in the Red Bulls Academy, registers his 30th MLS appearance and 25th start tonight. The second-year defender joins Andrew Farrell, Brandon Bye and DeJuan Jones in New England’s starting backline. The Revs have not conceded a goal from open play in four games at home this season (4-0-0), allowing only two goals across 360 minutes played (0.50 goals per game), one each from the penalty spot and a corner kick.
  • Farrell is now one appearance shy of his 250th regular season game played, all with New England. His 249 games played and 246 starts (including tonight) lead all MLS outfield players since 2013.
  • Farrell is one of three Revolution players to play every minute this season along with Carles Gil and Matt Turner.
  • Bye makes his ninth start of the season at right back. Among the league’s best players in the air, Bye ranks among MLS leaders in headed shots (T-2nd - 8), aerial duels won (T-3rd- 33), and tackles won (T-4th - 17).
  • Jones, also making his ninth start of the season, has collected four consecutive 90-minute performances entering tonight’s match. The 23-year-old defender owns a team-best 14 interceptions.
  • Three Revs starters will celebrate birthdays later this week. Matt Turner and left back DeJuan Jones will both celebrate birthdays tomorrow, June 24. Turner will celebrate his 27th birthday, while Jones will turn 24. Defender Henry Kessler will turn 23 on Friday, June 25.

  • Adam Buksa has scored two of his four goals this season as a substitute. The Pole continues to lead New England in goals (4), shots (31) and shots on goal (10).
  • Arnór Traustason is available off the bench after starting his first eight games in a Revolution uniform. The Icelandic winger owns two assists, 10 shots, and six shots on goal this season.
  • Revolution II graduates Jon Bell and Maciel are both available off the bench for tonight’s match. Bell became the first Revolution II product to score in a first-team match with a 78th-minute header last Saturday, while Maciel owns five appearances this season, all starts.
  • Edward Kizza continues to appear on New England’s matchday roster in every contest this season. Kizza, the Revolution’s first-round selection in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft, has played in five games.
