RECENT FORM VS. TORONTO FC

The New England Revolution will host red-hot Toronto FC, who sit tied atop the Supporters' Shield standings, on Wednesday night in a pivotal Eastern Conference battle.

Home-field advantage has played a huge role in the recent series as the Revs are 3-0-2 against TFC at Gillette Stadium since the start of the 2016 season, but 0-4-0 north of the border in that same span. In the two sides' most recent showdown on neutral ground at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, they played to a scoreless draw on July 21.

The Reds are coming to Foxborough on a five-game unbeaten run (4-0-1), while the Revs are on a four-game unbeaten run themselves (2-0-2). With a critical six-point swing on the line, this will be a game that you won't want to miss.

Overall Record vs. Toronto: 13-8-11
Home Record vs. Toronto: 10-2-5

SHOW YOUR COLORS

MATCHDAY GUIDE | New England Revolution vs. Toronto FC | October 7, 2020 -

On Wednesday night the Revs will be sporting "The Original," New England's primary kit designed as a nod to the club's original 1996 look, as Major League Soccer and the Revs continue their milestone 25th season. The sleek white stripe across the jersey echoes the angled stripes across the '96 kit, while the blue top is complemented by red shorts similar to those worn by the Revolution's first-ever squad.

You can own "The Original" by picking one up at the Gillette Stadium ProShop, or by ordering online HERE.
