RECENT FORM VS. D.C. UNITED

It's been just over a month since the Revs and D.C. squared off in the group stage of the MLS is Back Tournament - a match that also counted towards the MLS regular-season standings - playing to a 1-1 draw at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. New England felt they'd done enough to claim the full three points on that occasion, but a single defensive lapse allowed D.C. to capitalize late.

It was the third straight meeting between these teams that has finished all square as they played to a 1-1 draw at Gillette Stadium last May, and a 2-2 draw at Audi Field last July. In all three of their recent draws the Revs have scored first, but have been unable to see out a victory.

This will be just the Revs' third-ever visit to Audi Field, where they're 0-1-1, and they'll be looking for their first win in The District in more than seven years, as their last road victory vs. D.C. came in July of 2013.

Overall Record vs. D.C. United: 27-34-15
Away Record vs. D.C. United: 9-24-5

Last Meeting: Revs 1, D.C. 1 (July 17, 2020 - MLS is Back Tournament)
Last Meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 1, D.C. 1 (May 25, 2019)
Last Meeting at Audi Field: Revs 2, D.C. 2 (July 12, 2019)

Break out â€œThe Colonial!"

The Revs will be sporting their sleek secondary kits, which take inspiration from uniforms the colonial generals wore in the Revolutionary War.

These jerseys sport a white front with light blue sides and sleeves, and are tied together with navy blue trim. The light blue sides continue to cover the back of the jersey, topped near the neckline with the classic image of the Flag of New England.

You can own "The Colonial" by visiting the Gillette Stadium Pro Shop, or clicking HERE.
