FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution II have signed Revolution Academy midfielder Dennis Ramirez to the team’s USL League One roster. A native of Waltham, Mass., Ramirez becomes the second active Revolution Academy player signed by Revolution II, along with Meny Silva, and will officially join the roster pending league and federation approval.

Ramirez, 18, joined the Revolution Academy in 2018 and quickly established himself as a key contributor for the Under-19 side. Over the past two seasons, Ramirez has made 33 appearances, including 30 starts, as both a defender and defensive midfielder. So far in preseason action for Revolution II, Ramirez has appeared in all four exhibition games, including starts in the opening two contests with Hartford Athletic of the USL Championship and one against the University of New Hampshire on March 7.

With the addition of Ramirez, Revolution II's roster now consists of 15 players, including fellow Revolution Academy alumni Silva and Nick Woodruff. Revolution II most recently bolstered its roster by signing defender Simon Lekressner, who was selected 30^th overall in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft by New England, Danish defender Oskar Bloch, and goalkeeper Joe Rice, the lone USL League One veteran on the roster.

Single-game tickets and season ticket packages are now on sale for New England Revolution II’s 2020 USL League One campaign, available atRevolutionsoccer.net and the Gillette Stadium box office. The team’s inaugural season features 14 home games at Gillette Stadium, including a three-game homestand to start the year beginning with the season opener on Saturday, March 28 vs. Orlando City B at 5:00 p.m. ET.
