MATCHDAY GUIDE | New England Revolution at Montreal Impact | February 29, 2020

New England Revolution at Montreal Impact

Saturday, February 29 | 3 p.m.

Stade Olympique | Montréal, Québec, Canada

Predicted Weather: Cloudy | High 20 | Low 9

The New England Revolution will open the 2020 season at the Montreal Impact. However, the teams will not be squaring off outside at Stade Saputo, but instead will be playing indoors at Stade Olympique for the earliest season opener in league history.

The Revs went winless against the Impact last season - losing at home and drawing on the road - but New England have won six of their past nine meetings with Montreal (6-2-1) dating back to 2016.

This is the 12th straight year the Revolution have opened the season on the road, but it's the first-ever opener between New England and Montreal. The Revs will be looking to start off head coach Bruce Arena's first full season in charge and the league's 25th anniversary season on a positive note north of the border.

Overall Record vs. Impact: 9-9-3
Away Record vs. Impact: 4-5-2

Last Meeting at Gillette Stadium: Impact 3, Revs 0 (April 24, 2019)
Last Meeting at Stade Saputo: Revs 0, Impact 0 (May 18, 2019)

Break out “The Colonial!"

The Revs will be sporting their sleek secondary kits, which take inspiration from uniforms the colonial generals wore in the Revolutionary War.

These jerseys sport a white front with light blue sides and sleeves, and are tied together with navy blue trim. The light blue sides continue to cover the back of the jersey, topped near the neckline with the classic image of the Flag of New England.

You can own "The Colonial" by visiting the Gillette Stadium Pro Shop, or clicking HERE.
