As Seen on Social Media | Revs players buzzing ahead of Saturday's opener

Caldwell-Farrell-Bunbury preseason training 2020

The countdown is almost over as the New England Revolution season opens this weekend at the Montreal Impact. The team, fans and staff are all waiting patiently for kickoff at 3 p.m. on Saturday, and as this moment draws near, the social chatter is heating up.

Everyone's favorite hashflag is back just in time to open the regular season slate.

Wilfried Zahibo is pretty fired up for the season to start.

Rookie center back Henry Kessler is ready for his professional career with the Revs to take flight, and he showed his pride by proudly sporting the Flag of New England.

Did you miss him?! Following last year's brief team identity crisis, Kelyn Rowe comes home to New England and feels like he never stopped wearing red, white and blue.

With Teal Bunbury's fierce stare, it's clear he has 2020 vision this year.

Alexander Büttner's 'no caption' Instagram post in the new kit shows he means straight business.

Andrew Farrell is a big fan of the new kits, too.

New arrival Adam Buksa shows he's friendly, but you won't want to go 1-v-1 against him on the field.

Brandon Bye has been eagerly keeping track of the days until the opener.

School is back in session on Saturday. DeJuan Jones has leveled up from a 'freshman' in his rookie season to a 'sophomore' who knows the ropes this year.

TajonBuchanan heads into his second year, as well, and he's said 'thank u, next' to preseason.

He may only be 17 years old, but young Homegrown Player Damian Rivera is ready for his inaugural professional season.

While sporting director and head coach Bruce Arena is not on social media, his comments midweek ahead of the opener at Montreal shows that he, too, can't wait to get started.

“I think everyone’s excited," said Arena. "Preseasons are long, and we’re ready to get on the field in real competition. We look forward to the game."

All the action starts between the New England Revolution and the Montreal Impact on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Olympic Stadium.
