FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (7-4-7, 28 pts.) played Seattle Sounders FC (4-9-4, 16 pts.) to a scoreless draw at Gillette Stadium on Saturday evening. New England extends its unbeaten run to seven matches with the draw against the defending Western Conference champions, marking the club's longest undefeated streak since an eight-game run in 2015.


Matt Turner submitted his fourth shutout of the season in tonight's draw and brought his saves total on the year to 61, which ranks him among the league's top five goalkeepers this season. Midfielder Kelyn Rowe also became the 11th player in club history to reach 150 starts in tonight's contest, joining current Chris Tierney, Andrew Farrell, and Diego Fagundez – who eclipsed the same milestone in last weekend's match against D.C. United – as one of four active Revs players on the list.


New England returns to action on Saturday, July 14, when the club wraps up a three-match homestand against LA Galaxy at Gillette Stadium. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Boston, with Brad Feldman, Paul Mariner, and Naoko Funayama on the call. Revolution Play Seattle to a Scoreless Draw

·         The Revolution played Seattle to a 0-0 draw on Saturday, bringing the club’s record to 7-4-7 (28 pts.) through 18 matches of the 2018 regular season. The Revolution are now 6-2-3 at home in 2018.


·         New England's all-time record against Seattle moves to 5-4-6, including a 4-1-2 mark at home. The Revs have claimed at least one point in five of the clubs' last six meetings dating back to 2013 (2-1-3).


New England Extends Unbeaten Run to Seven Matches

·         With tonight's draw, the Revolution have gone unbeaten in seven consecutive league matches (2-0-5) dating back to May 26 at Vancouver Whitecaps FC.


·         The seven-match undefeated run is the Revs' longest such streak since the team was unbeaten in eight straight games from July 18 –Sept. 16, 2015.


Turner Notches Fourth Shutout of Season

·         Goalkeeper Matt Turner recorded his fourth shutout performance of the 2018 season. The Fairfield University product made one save en route to keeping the clean sheet.


·         The clean sheet is the club's first since the Revs defeated Sporting Kansas City, 1-0, at Gillette Stadium on April 28, 2018.


·         Turner's save total improves to 61 stops on the season, placing him tied for fifth in MLS with Seattle's Stefan Frei.


Rowe Makes 150th Career MLS Start

·         Midfielder Kelyn Rowe made his 150th career MLS start in tonight's match. In his seven seasons with the Revolution, Rowe has registered 28 goals and 40 assists in 193 career appearances.


Revolution Make Two Changes to Starting XI

  • Revolution Head Coach Brad Friedel made two changes to the club’s starting lineup from its most recent MLS match on June 30 vs. D.C. United. Midfielders Scott Caldwell and Kelyn Rowe replaced midfielder Wilfried Zahibo and forward Krisztián Németh.
