Revolution trade Jermaine Jones to Colorado Rapids

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution have traded Jermaine Jones to the Colorado Rapids in exchange for Colorado’s natural first-round draft pick in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft and general allocation money in a sign-and-trade.

Jones, 34, scored three goals and recorded six assists in his 33 regular and post-season career appearances with the Revolution. The German-born American joined the Revs as a designated player on August 24, 2014.

Internationally, Jones plays for the United States Men’s National Team. He has 58 career caps and three goals for the USMNT.
