Revs midfielder Kelyn Rowe enjoyed a breakout season in 2013, scoring seven goals and adding a team-high eight assists – picking up the tag of “rising star” along the way. Catch Jen Royle’s interview with Rowe in the Boston Herald as they discuss his abilities, both on the field and in the kitchen.

After a rocky start to the season, the Revolution take the field at Gillette Stadium for the first time since November on Saturday as they take on the Vancouver Whitecaps. The Revs only see action in Foxborough once in the opening five games, adding increased significance to the home opener. Check out Brian O’Connell’s piece in ESPN Boston to see why home advantage can give the Revs a timely boost this weekend.

Failing to get on the score-sheet in the first two games is not how the Revs offense wanted to start the 2014 season, with last season’s leading scorer Diego Fagundez stating that, “the first one is the hardest one to get.” Craig Forde of MLSSoccer.com has the thoughts of Fagundez and head coach Jay Heaps as the Revs seek to end their barren streak on Saturday.
