FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution is extending its youth development model into Connecticut after the Revolution Academy and Connecticut Football Club (CFC) announced a partnership to bring Academy programming to Connecticut.
The new partnership will establish Revolution Academy instructional and elite training programs open to Connecticut’s youth players, exposing both players and coaches to the highly-ranked Revolution Academy’s training methodology. CFC will also host Revolution Academy Regional Development Schools and Revolution Training Centers for youth players statewide. The Revs Academy will also run Team Academy programs for various squads throughout CFC.
CFC coaches will benefit from Revolution Academy-run coaching clinics, and also have the opportunity to observe Revs’ first-team and youth-team training sessions at Gillette Stadium.
Additionally, CFC players and coaches will have the opportunity to watch Revolution home games, and also play in the Revolution’s training facility at Gillette Stadium through a special ticking program.
