TEAM NOTES

  • The Revolution resume regular season play with the 100th all-time meeting between New England and D.C. United (all competitions).
  • New England is looking to even the MLS regular season series against the fellow MLS original club, with a 36-37-16 record entering tonight's match.
  • The Revolution have taken points in 11 of the last 14 meetings with D.C. In their last encounter on May 28, the Revolution dueled the Black and Red to a 1-1 draw at Audi Field.
  • The Revolution are 8-1-5 in their last 14 home matches against D.C. United dating back to 2012.
  • Saturday marks the club's first "Alumni Night" with 20 former Revolution greats set to be honored in a ceremony at halftime.

  • F Tomas Chancalay seeks a third straight game with a goal, which would be a new MLS-career high.
  • D Ilay Feingold tallied his first professional goal against D.C. United on May 28, one of three tallies on the season for the Israeli right back.
  • M Alhassan Yusuf is now one of only two Revolution players to start all 25 games this season, along with Gil.

  • Revolution Sporting Director Curt Onalfo played for D.C. United from 1998-99, served as an assistant coach for the club from 2000-02, and spent one season as its head coach in 2010.
  • Revolution midfielder Carles Gil and D.C. forward Christian Benteke crossed paths at Aston Villa in early 2015, playing half a season together for the English Premier League side.
  • Revolution midfielder Luis Diaz and D.C United midfielder Randall Leal played in matches for the Costa Rican national team together from 2019-2021.
