Gamble and Turner signing DL

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution have signed forward Michael Gamble and goalkeeper Matt Turner.

Gamble, 22, was the Revolution’s second-round selection in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft (30th overall). The Columbia, Maryland, native and Wake Forest University graduate appeared in all four of New England’s 2016 Desert Diamond Cup matches and tallied one goal. He helped Wake Forest to the NCAA Tournament in each of his four collegiate seasons, adding 24 goals and 20 assists in 60 career appearances.

Turner, 21, signs with the Revolution after spending the preseason as a trialist. As Fairfield University’s starter in 2014 and 2015, he turned in a 13-9-12 record to go along with 21 clean sheets and a 0.85 GAA. In his junior campaign in 2014, Turner yielded only 10 goals in 17 appearances, adding 13 shutouts.
