FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (February 8, 2024) – MLS NEXT Pro has revealed the full schedule for the 2024 season, which will see New England Revolution II play 28 regular season games as the developmental team begins its fifth season. New England will compete in the Eastern Conference’s Northeast Division alongside New York City FC II, Philadelphia Union II, Toronto FC II, New York Red Bulls II, FC Cincinnati 2, Columbus Crew 2, and Chicago Fire II. Every MLS NEXT Pro match is available to watch live on either MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app, or MLSNEXTPro.com.
This season, more New Englanders than ever before will have the opportunity to see the Revolution’s next generation play live, as Revolution II will play eight of its 14 home matches at Mark A. Ouellette Stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire. New England’s remaining six home games will be played at Gillette Stadium. Mark A. Ouellette Stadium, a 1,500-seat venue, opened in 2018 and is home to SNHU’s soccer, lacrosse, tennis, and track and field programs.
The Revolution II season begins on the road against Philadelphia Union II on Sunday, March 24 before the club’s home opener at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, March 31 vs. Carolina Core FC, the newest expansion team joining MLS NEXT Pro in 2024. The regular season will conclude on Sunday, October 6 against Columbus Crew 2 in New Hampshire before the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Cup Playoffs commence. Last season, Revolution II finished second in the conference and advanced to the Eastern Conference Championship match, the side’s deepest postseason run to date.
Eight clubs from each conference will qualify for the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Cup playoffs consisting of three rounds beginning the weekend of October 18. The league’s “pick-your-opponent” playoff format returns for a second year as the top-four seeds will select their opponents ahead of the first round. The highest remaining seed in each conference will select their opponent in the second round.
Most Revolution II games will be broadcast live on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app, with select matches available to watch on MLSNEXTPro.com. All Decision Day and MLS NEXT Pro Cup Playoff matches will be featured on MLS Season Pass. General admission tickets for Revolution II home games at Mark A. Ouellette Stadium will go on sale on Sunday, February 11. Tickets for New England’s home matches at Gillette Stadium will be available for purchase on Monday, February 19.
As the pinnacle of the Revolution’s esteemed Pro Pathway, Revolution II bridges the gap between the Revolution Academy, competing in MLS NEXT, and New England’s first team. Revolution II has helped launch the professional careers of 49 different players who have earned their pro debuts with the team, including 29 current or former members of Revolution Academy. Over the team’s first four seasons, 10 Revolution II players have made the jump to the club’s MLS roster.
