Jermaine Jones got the call up and is making his triumphant return to the U.S. national team. Monday’s training session marked his first appearance in almost seven months. Jones has been anxiously awaiting his chance to return to the field, “It’s always bad when you have to watch games from the outside and you can’t help.”


I can’t wrap my head around the power rankings so I’m going to just give them to you with as few snarky comments as I can. Sports Illustrated has the Revs at the highest slot coming in at number four. ESPNhas the Revs just one slot below at number five.


Then things get wacky. MLS has us all the way at 12 and calls the rest of our schedule soft (rude), and finally, Soccer Americacomes in with another number 12 ranking. At least they’re consistent…


Tonight is the annual Celebrity Bartending fundraiser to benefit the ThinkTaylor Foundation. The event is at McGreevy’s in Boston and you can be served by Jose Goncalves, Juan Agudelo and Chris Tierney. Hear from Jose on tonight here, and from Chris here.
