Revolution Headlines: August 19

Jermaine Jones vs. Houston Dynamo

Hump day! Here are some headlines to make your Wednesday a little brighter.

Jermaine Jones was finally back in the starting lineup on Saturday night against Houston. Now that he is transitioning back into play for the Revolution there is speculation about him re-joining the USMNT for their upcoming friendly at Gillette Stadium.

Jeremy Hall played the full 90 against the Dynamo on Saturday night. Hall has been a staple in the Revs lineup over the past month, and hopes to continue to contribute into the stretch run. Hall talked to NE Soccer Today about his recent success, “It was definitely hard because everybody thinks they should be on the field. But I just wait for my opportunity, and I got one, and just trying to ride with it and help the team as much as I can.”

Kelyn Rowe sat done with The Well Done Man to talk about his success on the field and life as a transplant Bostonian. Kelyn, you showed up to Boston in January without a winter coat? Amateur hour…

Yesterday Andrew Farrell and Teal Bunbury scooped ice cream at the Friendly’s in Norwood as part of a benefit for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. I can tell you firsthand their scooping form was EXCELLENT.

That’s all for today!
