RECENT FORM VS. COLUMBUS CREW

It's been more than five months since these two sides squared off in the Revolution's home opener at Gillette Stadium, Columbus taking a 1-0 win courtesy of Jacen Russell-Rowe's second-half goal. That was New England's fourth straight setback in this series, and the Revs have won just once in their last 15 meetings with the Crew in all competitions (1-8-6) dating back to the start of the 2018 season.

New England (7-12-7, 28 pts.) put together a solid defensive performance for much of this past Saturday night's meeting with Los Angeles FC, but a pair of second-half goals saw the Revs suffer a 2-0 loss to the Western Conference contenders. Having closed out their four-game homestand, the Revs will now return to the road for the first time in more than a month, having last traveled for a visit to the New York Red Bulls in mid-July.

Columbus (12-5-9, 45 pts.) have been one of Major League Soccer's most difficult teams to beat this season, currently tied with Inter Miami CF for fewest losses leaguewide (5). While they've slipped to seven points back of FC Cincinnati and San Diego FC in the Supporters' Shield race, the Crew have been solid since the start of June, going 7-2-3 in all competitions. Wilfried Nancy's side have been particularly good at home, going 8-2-4 at Lower.com Field, though they did fall to Orlando City SC in their most recent league home game on July 25.

After their brief return to the road, the Revs will be back at Gillette Stadium next weekend to close out the month of August against Charlotte FC.

SHOW YOUR COLORS

Saturday night the Revs will wear "The '96" kit, unveiled in July as part of the adidas x MLS Archive Collection. Celebrating the style and aesthetic of the late '90s and early 2000s, the Revs are one of 10 MLS clubs featuring new third kits, styled with a matching jacket and Gazelle shoes.

An unapologetic tribute to the club's start in the '90s, "The '96" kit revives the team's original wordmark, bold colors, and front-facing numbers on the pitch. The jersey is primarily Bright Red and features a gradient pattern that invokes the '96 jerseys with a contemporary flair. The retro Revolution wordmark is emblazoned on the shirt's front, while the back features the original MLS logo and "Gillette", the Revolution's primary jersey sponsor since 2025.

The shirts will be paired with Bright Red socks, while the shorts, shirt details, and numerals utilize a refreshed shade of Night Sky Blue.
