FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Justin Rennicks and the United States Under-20 Men’s National Team begin their FIFA U-20 World Cup journey on Friday afternoon, and you can watch the action live.

The young Americans kick off their group stage schedule at 2:30 p.m. ET on Friday, May 24, when they’ll take on Ukraine at Bielsko-Biala Stadium in Poland, with live coverage on FS1. Nigeria and Qatar join the U.S. and Ukraine in Group D, with the top two teams advancing to the knockout stage along with the four best third-place teams.

FS1 will also cover the U.S. U-20s second group stage match against Nigeria (Monday, May 27, 2:30 p.m ET), while FS2 will have the group-stage finale against Qatar on Thursday, May 30 (2:30 p.m. ET).

Rennicks (South Hamilton, Mass.), who signed as the Revs’ sixth Homegrown Player this past January, has been a key figure in one of the more highly-touted U-20 groups in recent memory. He was named to eight of the nine U-20 camp rosters during the World Cup cycle, more than any other player.

Shining on the biggest stage, Rennicks registered four goals and six assists in eight appearances during the 2018 Concacaf U-20 Championship last November, including a start in the final as the Americans defeated arch rivals Mexico, 2-0, to claim the regional crown.

“He’s one of the new pro players that is coming up, but a player that was key in our qualifying success,” said U.S. U-20 head coach Tab Ramos. “He started at the number nine position in the final, and was likely one of our best players.”

Rennicks is one of 14 players from that title-winning side on the U.S. U-20 World Cup roster.
