Honor the vibrant cultures of Asia and the Pacific Islands at our second AAPI Night! Enjoy vibrating music and dances performances, activations from local organizations and a special anime-themed Fan Zone.

ASIAN AMERICAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER HERITAGE NIGHT

The Revs will celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Night on Saturday at Gillette Stadium with an evening featuring cultural activations, live performances, and the debut of the club's exclusive AAPI-themed scarf, designed by local artist and Asian American illustrator Juno Jialu Zou.

Zou, a Boston resident and MassArt graduate, collaborated with the Revs to design a special AAPI Heritage Month scarf, drawing inspiration from Chinatown and their family heritage. The scarf, which will be available at the Gillette Stadium Pro Shop starting May 17, incorporates cultural symbols like the Koi fish and wave patterns.

Fan Zone will be buzzing pregame between 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., featuring performances by Showa Boston, Boston Shufukai Kendo, Move & Inspire, Binh Dinh Academy, and Iskwelahang Pilipino, all hosted by DJ and emcee Chareeda Rustanavibul. Additional interactive cultural activities will feature an Origami station by the Japanese Association of Greater Boston, a dragon costume exhibition by Binh Dinh Academy, and a manga station with Slyde, among several other activities.

Saturday night's honorary captain will be Zou, while the Hero of the Match will be Yasuo Kubota, President of the Japanese Association of Greater Boston. Move & Inspire will entertain the Gillette Stadium crowd with a special halftime performance.

RECENT FORM VS. SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES

It's been a full six years since the Revolution's last meeting with the Earthquakes, a 3-1 win for New England all the way back on May 11, 2019. Only three players - Brandon Bye, Andrew Farrell, and Carles Gil - remain from the Revs squad that faced San Jose that evening at Gillette Stadium. Oddly enough, however, seven players with recent Revolution ties currently feature on the Earthquakes' roster: Ian Harkes, Dave Romney, Mark-Anthony Kaye, Noel Buck, DeJuan Jones, Nick Lima, and Earl Edwards, Jr. Meanwhile, San Jose's coaching staff features Bruce Arena alongside former Revolution players Shalrie Joseph, Steve Ralston, and Adin Brown.

While there's no recent on-field history between these sides, the Revs do carry a seven-game unbeaten run (4-0-3) in this series into Saturday night's showdown, having not lost to San Jose since March of 2012.

The Revs (5-4-2, 17 pts.) saw both their four-game winning streak and 409-minute shutout streak ended this past weekend at Inter&Co Stadium, but their unbeaten run reached five games (4-0-1) as they erased deficits of 2-0 and 3-2 in an entertaining 3-3 draw with Orlando City SC. While road form has largely carried the Revs throughout this stretch with 10 points from their last four road games, they've also won two straight at Gillette Stadium, claiming a 2-1 win over the Red Bulls and a 2-0 win over New York City FC in their last two matches in Foxborough.

San Jose (5-6-1, 16 pts.) boasts the highest-scoring attack in Major League Soccer with 26 goals through 12 games, led by newcomers Chicho Arango (8 goals) and Josef Martínez (6 goals). They've followed up a three-game losing streak with back-to-back wins heading into Wednesday night's showdown with Inter Miami CF at PayPal Park, including a 2-0 road triumph at the Colorado Rapids this past weekend.

Saturday's game begins a hectic stretch through the end of the month, as the Revs will play five games in a span of 15 days between May 17 and May 31, including a U.S. Open Cup date with Chicago Fire FC, and trips to Sporting Kansas City, D.C. United, and CF Montréal.

Overall Record vs. San Jose: 15-20-8
Home Record vs. San Jose: 9-10-3

Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 3, Earthquakes 1 (May 11, 2019)
Last meeting at PayPal Park: Revs 2, Earthquakes 2 (June 13, 2018)

SHOW YOUR COLORS

Saturday night the Revs will be wearing the "Boston Tea Party" kit, which will serve as the club's primary uniform once again in 2025.

Inspired by Boston's proud history of positive defiance, the kit commemorates the recent 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in December 1773. The shirt design is highlighted by red and white vertical waves on the jersey's front, which represent the ripples in the Boston Harbor made by East India Training Company's tea creates as the American revolutionaries emptied 45 tons of tea into the water.

The navy jersey features red shoulders with three white stripes, a throwback to earlier Revolution jerseys, paired with navy shorts and navy socks, featuring red and white striping on top.
