Saturday, September 11 | 6 p.m.
Elizabeth Pehota and Jeff Lemieux will break down all the major storylines and starting XIs on Revolution Pregame Live, available live at 6 p.m. ahead of Saturday night's battle against New York City FC on the Revolution’s official Facebook and YouTube channels, as well as www.revolutionsoccer.net.

RECENT FORM VS. NEW YORK CITY FC
The New England Revolution will host New York City FC for an Eastern Conference clash on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium. It will be the 19th overall meeting in this series since NYCFC joined the league as an expansion side in 2015.
This is the last of three meetings between these sides in the 2021 regular season. The Revs have gone 1-1-0 in their previous two meetings, with their most recent battle taking place only two weeks ago at Yankee Stadium. New England fell 2-0 in the Bronx, where NYCFC snapped the Revs' nine-game unbeaten run. Head coach Bruce Arena said that NYCFC outplayed and outcoached New England on the night.
The Revs will look to find a response to their recent loss in the Bronx on their home field, with three points on Saturday.
NYCFC sits at fourth place in the East with 34 points, going 10-7-4 through 21 games. New York City is coming off a 3-1 road loss to Nashville SC at Nissan Stadium. NYCFC has gone 1-2-0 in their last three games, winning their home game at Yankee Stadium and dropping their two games on the road. NYCFC has also gone 2-5-3 on the road as a whole, picking up only nine points away from home.
The Revs still sit firmly at No. 1 in the league with a 10-point lead in the Supporters' Shield race, and they're 14 points ahead in the Eastern Conference. As the Revs head into the final 10 games of the season looking to build upon their league-leading 9-1-1 home record, their contest against New York City FC will be one that you don’t want to miss.
Overall Record vs. NYCFC: 8-6-4
Home Record vs. NYCFC: 4-2-2
Last Meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 0, NYCFC 0 (September 19, 2020)
Last Meeting at Yankee Stadium: NYCFC 2, Revs 0 (August 28, 2021)

SALUTE TO HEROES
2021 marks the 20th-year remembrance of the September 11 attacks. With the Revolution hosting a match on this date, the club will recognize our annual Salute to Heroes, where we honor our military and first responders. Additionally, the Revolution will partner with the Patriots to take time throughout the week leading into the match to honor the lives lost during the September 11 attacks. These events include Tribute Stones created by both Revs and Pats players, a Memorial Tree Planting where six trees are planted to represent the six New England states to honor lives lost on 9-11, and a Memorial Display in Fan Zone leading up to kickoff before the match on September 11. Several other match day initiatives are listed below:
Hero of the Match
All active and retired military and first responders.
Special American Flag Jersey Numbers
The Revolution will don jerseys featuring special American Flag-themed numbers on the back. The jerseys will be auctioned after the match to benefit 9/11-based charities.
American Flag Unfurling
During the National Anthem, a large American flag will be unfurled on the Gillette Stadium pitch by military personnel, veterans and their families from USA New England, the Wounded Warrior Project and Tuesday’s Children.

DRIVE SERIES PRESENTED BY DAN O'BRIEN AUTOMOTIVE GROUP
The Revolution Drive Series presented by the Dan O’Brien Automotive Group is back on Saturday! New and gently-used soccer equipment will be collected at all stadium points of entry to benefit the United Heroes League, an organization focused on ensuring that children of military service members are afforded every opportunity to participate in sports. Everyone who donates will receive a car magnet courtesy of the Revs Charitable Foundation and Dan O’Brien Automotive Group.
KICK CHILDHOOD CANCER PRE-MATCH JERSEYS
As part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, the Revs will partner with MLS WORKS on several initiatives to raise awareness and funds in the battle against childhood cancer.
In recognition of these efforts, the Revs will wear special gold-themed warm-up shirts before all matches in September to symbolize their unity towards kicking childhood cancer.
The Revolution's official 'Kick Childhood Cancer' match will be on September 25 against Orlando City SC. You will also notice gold-themed elements including soccer balls, corner flags, captain’s armband and more throughout the stadium throughout the entire month, as well as during the ‘Kick Childhood Cancer’ match.
BACK TO SCHOOL WITH THE REVS
You can help Teal Bunbury with his third annual 'Back to School with the Revs' initiative by donating to help those in need for school supplies and clothes for the upcoming year. Last year, the New England community raised $12,000 to help 40 families have $300 each to shop for supplies at Target. This year, Teal challenges the community to raise $15,000. You can learn more and can donate through his tweet below.
SHOW YOUR COLORS
The Revs will be sporting "The Original," New England's primary kit designed as a nod to the club's original 1996 look. The sleek white stripe across the jersey echoes the angled stripes across the '96 kit, while the blue top is complemented by red shorts similar to those worn by the Revolution's first-ever squad.
