Hey Junior Revs!
Even though the Revs have only been back in action for a couple of weeks, this
summer of soccer is already in full swing!
The Revs kicked off the second half of the MLS season with a draw against
Toronto FC. Following the conclusion of the first team’s match, the Revs Unified
Team played against Toronto FC’s Unified Team for their annual home match at
Gillette Stadium. On July 25, the Revs dominated on the pitch with a 4-1 win
against Atlanta United FC! Forward Dor Turgeman and midfielders Carles Gil and
Brooklyn Raines each recorded a goal and an assist, while Homegrown defender
Peyton Miller also found the back of the net. Midfielder Alhassan Yusuf
contributed a pair of assists, and Jackson Yueill added a helper to round out the
scoring contributions. A true team effort that helped the Revs climb into third
place in the Eastern Conference. This was also our One Region, Many Roots
match, which celebrated the diverse cultures and identities that unite New
England. In honor of the evening, players wore custom cleats that were designed
by a local artist. Each player collaborated with the artist to share their story and
inspire the design of the cleat.
Looking ahead to this month, the Revs have two home matches you can catch at
Gillette Stadium in August. On August 8 the Revs take on Houston Dynamo FC for
our annual Match for C.H.A.N.G.E.. This match will highlight the Revolution's
social justice and equity platform (C.H.A.N.G.E). The matchday will be centered
around highlighting organizations and individuals who are making an impact in
the local community. A minority-owned small business pop-up market will be
featured in Fan Zone. Revolution players will wear special jersey numbers
created by a local artist on the pitch. Then, feel the energy, rhythm, and passion of
Brazil at our annual Noite Brasileria on August 23 when the Revs face off against
New York City FC! Enjoy live music, dance performances, and cultural elements,
including an exclusive Noite Brasileira scarf, showcasing the vibrant Brazilian
community.
Our 9th Annual Bowl for a Goal presented by Arbella Insurance is right around the
corner! Our premier annual fundraiser for Special Olympics Massachusetts is on
August 4 at Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Patriot Place. Join us for a night filled with
music and entertainment, complimentary appetizers, raffles, silent auction, and

Off the pitch, the Revs have added a couple new faces to the team. The Revs
acquired English winger Jack Harrison from English Premier League club Leeds
United FC, while also signing forward Wilson Harris and acquiring defender Cody
Baker as part of a series of roster moves this month.
The club is also keeping some familiar faces, re-signing defender Peyton Miller
and retaining goalkeeper Matt Turner following his return from representing the
U.S. Men’s National Team at the World Cup!
