Brandon Bye Aspiras Foundation

Brandon Bye recently joined his former New England Revolution teammate - and current Nashville SC defender - Jalil Anibaba on Instagram Live to discuss his role with Black Players For Change, as well as his nonprofit Aspiras Foundation, which he founded in 2016 along with Western Michigan classmate Federico Tavarez to provide soccer equipment to low-income communities in the Dominican Republic.

"I think we were combining both of our loves for A) soccer, and B) helping the next generation," Bye said of starting the foundation. "I think that's huge. I think giving back in whatever it is, is something that you have to do when you keep reaching the next level, and the next level. How do you give back to the game?
