What is Touches for C.H.A.N.G.E.?

After two consecutive successful years of Touches for C.H.A.N.G.E., the week-long fundraising program returns for another season! Join the New England Revolution in participating in this year's fundraiser from February 20 through February 25. To date, over $50,000 has been raised for Boston Centers for Youth & Families. New soccer equipment has been donated to local youth members at C.H.A.N.G.E. Clinics and new soccer goals have been donated to BCYF facilities.

In recognition of Black History Month, the New England Revolution Foundation will support local non-profits by donating soccer equipment to youth members at future C.H.A.N.G.E. Clinics. Through the Revolution’s social justice platform, C.H.A.N.G.E., this fundraiser will also provide educational facts about local Black New England history. For each day of the fundraiser, participants will learn about a new Black historical fact and have a corresponding number of touches to do with a soccer ball. Fundraising participants can also share why they are committed to Touches for C.H.A.N.G.E.

Track your daily touches, learn about New England Black history, raise awareness surrounding social injustice, and help support future C.H.A.N.G.E. Clinics!

How are the number of touches determined and tracked?

Each day participants involved with the fundraiser will be asked to do a specific number of touches with a soccer ball. The number of touches will correspond to a date or figure of importance in Black History relating to each of the New England states. Download your tracker and fact sheet above to record your touches while learning about New England Black History!

Share why you are completing your touches!

Participants are encouraged to record their touches and share them on social media using #TouchesForChange to show commitment to the fundraiser. Have a specific reason why you are completing your touches? Download the sign template above and fill out why you are completing your touches!
