The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Boston, as well as on the radio at 98.5 The Sports Hub and WBIX 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA. Here is a closer look at New England’s starting lineup:

Starting XI (4-2-3-1): GK Matt Turner; D Alexander Büttner, D Andrew Farrell, D Henry Kessler, D DeJuan Jones; M Scott Caldwell, M Tommy McNamara; LM Teal Bunbury, CAM Carles Gil ©, RM Tajon Buchanan; F Adam Buksa

Lineup Notes:

  • New England’s Starting XI features three changes from its most recent match on Oct. 28 at New York Red Bulls, with Carles Gil, Teal Bunbury and Tajon Buchanan starting in place of Diego Fagundez, Kekuta Manneh and Kelyn Rowe.
  • Carles Gil reclaims the captain’s armband as he makes his first start – and his first appearance at Gillette Stadium – since returning from an Aug. 4 foot surgery. Gil, the Revolution’s 2019 Team MVP and an MLS Best XI selection, has logged consecutive 27-minute shifts off the bench over the past two games. This will be Gil’s fifth appearance and third start on the season.
  • Adam Buksa (15 starts) and Tajon Buchanan (10 starts) remain the only two Revolution players to appear in all 22 league matches this season.
  • Buksa, tied with Gustavo Bou (5) for second on the team in goals behind Teal Bunbury’s six, has scored twice against D.C. United this season.
  • Matt Turner (5,996) will surpass 6,000 career minutes played in tonight’s match. Turner, 3-1-2 in six career matches against D.C. United, aims to match his career-high in wins (8) and add to his career-best six clean sheets.
  • Teal Bunbury leads the Revolution in scoring with six goals, but is in search of his first tally at Gillette Stadium this season. His next goal will be his 60th in MLS and place him in a tie with Joe-Max Moore (41) for fifth on the club’s all-time scoring list.
  • Scott Caldwell makes his 17th appearance and 14th start of the season tonight. The Homegrown Player has started nine of the last 10 matches, including five 90-minute shifts, and ranks second on the team in interceptions (26).
  • Tommy McNamara starts besides Caldwell in the midfield in what marks his 100th MLS start, and his 11th as a member of the Revolution.
  • Henry Kessler has appeared in all but one match of his rookie season and holds team leads in possession won (111), clearances (74), interceptions (31) and tackles (29). The rookie has played in all six of the Revs’ clean sheets.
  • Alexander Büttner, who has registered 90-minute performances in two of the last three contests, will make 16th appearance and 14th start tonight. Büttner ranks among top defenders in MLS in assists (tied for 2nd - 3), chances created (4th - 24), and chances created from set play (5th -11).
  • DeJuan Jones is set to make his ninth consecutive start and the 13th of his second MLS campaign. If he plays 90 minutes, Jones will reach 2,500 career minutes played.

Bench: GK Brad Knighton, D Brandon Bye, D Michael Mancienne, D Antonio Delamea, M Lee Nguyen, M Matt Polster, M Diego Fagundez, M/F Kekuta Manneh, F Gustavo Bou
Bench Notes:

  • If Diego Fagundez appears off the bench tonight, he will set a new Revolution club record with his 262nd regular season appearance, passing Shalrie Joseph (261). He has appeared in 19 of the first 21 games this season.
  • Gustavo Bou is available for New England for the first time since Oct. 14 at Montreal as he continues to work his way back from a minor hamstring injury.
  • Lee Nguyen has appeared in 10 matches, including eight starts, since re-joining the Revolution on Sept. 8.
  • Kekuta Manneh has contributed a goal and an assist over the last four matches, with two starts.
