FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (3-3-5, 14 pts.) are set to host New York City FC (5-5-1, 16 pts.) at 4:30 p.m. this afternoon at Gillette Stadium. The match airs locally on NBC Sports Boston, as well as on the radio at 98.5 The Sports Hub, and WBIX 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA. Here is a closer look at New England’s lineup for Saturday’s contest:

Lineup Notes:

·Lee Nguyen will make his first appearance at Gillette Stadium since Aug. 3, 2019 with LAFC, and his first home appearance with the Revolution since Oct. 15, 2017 vs. New York City FC, a 2-1 win. Nguyen (51G/49A) needs one assist to become the club’s first player with 50 goals and 50 assists in the regular season.


·Tajon Buchanan earns his second start of the season, and sixth in MLS, after scoring his first career MLS goal in the club’s last match on Sept. 12 at Philadelphia. His last start came on July 21 vs. Toronto.


·Gustavo Bou returns to the starting lineup after featuring as a substitute on Sept. 12 at Philadelphia. The Revolution are an unbeaten 2-0-1 this season when Bou scores a goal.


·Teal Bunbury earns his 10th selection to the starting lineup and has also appeared in every game this season.


·Tommy McNamara will make his fourth straight start, and fifth consecutive appearance, since joining the Revolution. He will face his former team in New York City, where he scored 13 goals with 14 assists across 86 appearances from 2015-18.


·Brandon Bye will make his 12th start of the season at right back, maintaining his position as the only Revolution player to start every regular season game. He leads the team in minutes played with 941.


·Henry Kessler, a New York City native, is poised to make his 12th appearance and ninth start of the season, both of which lead all 2020 MLS SuperDraft selections.


·Scott Caldwell will make his eighth appearance and fifth start of the season -- his first since July 21 vs. Toronto.


·Matt Turner is set to make his 11th start of the season in need of four saves to match Adin Brown (206) for the fourth most stops in club history.

Bench Notes:

·Diego Fagundez needs two appearances to match Matt Reis (254) for second on the club’s all-time games played list. He is the Revolution’s all-time leading scorer against New York City FC with four career goals.


·Kekuta Manneh scored goals in each of his first two career games against New York City FC in 2015 and 2016, both as a member of Vancouver Whitecaps FC.


·Brad Knighton has dressed for all 12 games this season and has made one start.
