DL - Revs vs. LA Galaxy NBC Boston

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution's match on Saturday, July 22 against the LA Galaxy (7:30 p.m. ET) will air on NBC Boston (WBTS), the club announced today. NBC Boston, an affiliate of Comcast-NBC Universal, will be the first over-the-air network affiliate in Boston to broadcast a Revolution match.  The broadcast of the July 22 game originates from the relationship the Revolution currently have with CSN New England, the club’s local broadcast partner for the eighth consecutive season.

“CSN New England has been and continues to be a great partner to the Revolution,” said Revolution President Brian Bilello. “This opportunity allows us to expand on that relationship by teaming up with NBC Boston to expose more of Boston’s great sports fans to the Revolution. We look forward to continuing to work with both CSN New England and NBC Boston in the future.”

"All of us at NBC Boston are excited to bring the excitement of New England Revolution soccer to our viewers and sports fans throughout Boston,” said NBC Boston President and General Manager, Mike St. Peter. “We are pleased that our partnership with CSN New England and The Revolution is allowing us this great opportunity.”

NBC Boston is available to residents in the greater Boston area on Channel 10 with most providers, as well as channel 8 over the air. In addition to airing on NBC Boston, the game will also be available on television to residents outside of Boston on CSN New England.

The Revolution's broadcasting crew of Brad Feldman, Paul Mariner, and Naoko Funayama will have the call on NBC Boston. All other non-nationally televised Revolution games are available on CSN New England, the club's local broadcast partner for an eighth consecutive year. Following each Revolution game, CSN New England features a 30-minute "Revolution Postgame Live" show featuring highlights, analysis, and interviews.

The match may also be heard on the radio at 98.5 The Sports Hub and in Portuguese on WMVX 1570 AM Nossa Radio.
