Amadu Kunateh called into U.S. U15 National Team camp

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution Under-16 Amadu Kunateh (Salem, Mass.) is among the 36 players called in by U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team head coach Tony Lepore for the team’s March training camp, which will be held Saturday, March 3, to Saturday, March 10, in Carson, Calif.


During the camp, the U15 Boys’ National Team will play four scrimmages. On Tuesday, March 6, the team will face Chivas USA at 5:30 p.m. PT, before taking on the LA Galaxy at 7 p.m. PT. On Friday, March 9, the U15 team will play a pair of games against the U14 Boys’ National Team at 5 p.m PT and 6:30 p.m. PT.


This is Kunateh’s first season with the Revolution Under-16 team. He started each of the team’s first five games of the 2011-12 U.S. Soccer Development Academy season, scoring one goal and adding one assist. The Salem, Mass., resident previously attended an I.D. camp and an interregional tournament with the U.S. Under-14 Boys’ National Team, and has attended three U.S. Soccer Training Centers – in Sept. 2010 (N.H.), Nov. 2010 (Conn.) and Jan. 2012 (Mass.).
