There are few players more synonymous with the New England Revolution than Chris Tierney. A childhood fan of the club while growing up in Wellesley, Mass., Tierney enjoyed an 11-year playing career with the Revs before stepping into the front office, rising from Player Recruitment Manager (2019-2022), to Director of Soccer Operations (2022-23), to Assistant Sporting Director (2024-2026), into his new role as General Manager and Chief Soccer Officer. Joining host DJ Bean on this week's episode of The Soccer Show, Tierney discussed taking over the first team roster and technical staff, his vision for the future in New England, and his love for the club.

Revolution play-by-play man Brad Feldman also joined the show to discuss Tierney's promotion and the midweek signing of forward Wilson Harris, while his broadcast partner and CBS Sports analyst Charlie Davies recapped the U.S. Men's National Team's historic 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina to set up a FIFA World Cup Round of 16 showdown with Belgium next Monday night.
