Revolution Receive $175,000 in General Allocation Money from Charlotte FC

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. ā€“Ā The New England Revolution received $75,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money (GAM) and $100,000 in 2024 GAM from Charlotte FC in exchange for a 2023 International Roster Spot.

The Revolution currently have no International Roster Spots remaining for the 2023 season following Tuesdayā€™s trade. Revolution midfielder Carles Gil received his U.S. Green Card, qualifying him as a domestic player for MLS roster purposes, while forward Gustavo Bou remains in Argentina and is expected to receive his Green Card shortly.Ā 

The Revolution will conclude its five-match preseason schedule on Saturday, February 18 at Orlando City SC. The match at Exploria Stadium begins at 7:30 p.m. ET.
