Revolution players proud to be #GirlDads

Teal Bunbury with daughter 2019

When New England Revolution players step off the field, one of the most valued aspects of their lives are their families.

Several players have recently discovered the joy of being new parents, including Teal Bunbury, Diego Fagundez and Antonio Delamea. When NBA legend Kobe Bryant recently passed away alongside his 13-year-old daughter Gianna in a tragic helicopter accident, it sparked a movement about the special relationship between a father and daughter. Bryant had four daughters, and the immense pride he took in them sparked the #GirlDad movement.

This social media phenomenon was one that hit home to many #NERevs players, because they, too, are proud #GirlDads.

The smile Diego's daughter has on her face says it all.

"The pride that you have as a father, as a parent, that your daughter can be in a situation and try her best no matter what it is - sports, academics, whatever - so anything that she does, I'll be supportive." - Teal Bunbury

Name a cuter selfie than Bunbury with his daughter.

If this picture of Antonio and his daughter doesn't make your heart melt, we don't know what will.
