UNDER-18s

The Under-18s began the weekend by claiming a win in stoppage time, defeating Players Development Academy, 3-2. PDA equalized nine minutes later through Isaiah Young but the Revs regained the lead before halftime. Chris Arling (Windham, N.H.) took aim from distance and his shot deflected into the path of John Wilkins (Natick, Mass.), who finished from close range. PDA again pegged the Revs back and tied the game through Cameron Allen in the 85th minute, but in the third minute of second half stoppage time,Christian Schifano (Sudbury, Mass.) found Eddie Venta-Yepes (Lowell, Mass.) who scored the game-winning goal. Revs goalkeeper Bill Sinibaldi (Plaistow, N.H.) made five saves in the win.

NJCSA went ahead in the ninth minute through Josh Goldstern, but the Revs knotted the score just before halftime. After neat play from Herivaux, Izaiah Jennings (Barrington, R.I.) picked up the ball and finished into the corner. Sinibaldi made two saves in the draw.

UNDER-16s

The Under-16s tied with Players Development Academy, 1-1, on Saturday. The Revs struck first in the 26th minute when Justin Rennicks (South Hamilton, Mass.) got behind the PDA defense and played in Andrew Barrowman(Marshfield, Mass.) who scored on the empty net for his team-leading fourth goal of the season. The lead did not last long as PDA equalized four minutes later on through Zeno Mazzacato’s goal. The Revs had eight shots but could not find a winner, while goalkeeper Trey Miller (Monson, Mass.) made five saves at the other end.

The U16s extended their unbeaten streak to five games (3-0-2) with a 2-0 win over New Jersey Cedar Stars Academy on Sunday. After a tight first half, the Revs went ahead with two quick goals after halftime. In the 55thminute, a free kick delivery found Nick Woodruff (Attleboro, Mass.) at the near post who flicked the ball on for Max Diamond (Hopedale, Mass.) who scored to put the Revs ahead. The U16s scored again two minutes later whenConnor Haskell (Medfield, Mass.) dribbled to the end line before his cutback found Isaac Angking (Providence, R.I.) streaking into the area. Goalkeeper Eddie Walsh (Westwood, Mass.) made five saves to preserve the shutout. The U16s have posted six shutouts in eight league matches so far this season.

UNDER-14s

The Under-14s returned to winning ways behind three unanswered second-half goals against Empire Revolution on Saturday. The Revs took the lead in the 43rd minute when Gustavo Cassemiro (Framingham, Mass.) took aim from outside the area and his deflected attempt fell to Elio Firmino (Somerville, Mass.) who scored. Firmino scored his second goal of the game in the 60th minute, when he beat his man and slotted past the goalkeeper after Tim Ennin (East Hartford, Conn.) set him up. Firmino then turned provider as his pass found Brandin Osborne (North Easton, Mass.) on the top of the box, who finished into the lower right corner. The U14s have won five of their six league matches so far this season.

All three of the Revolution’s youth teams are back in action next weekend as they host BW Gottschee Academy on Sunday, November 2, at Regis College in Weston, Mass. The U18s kick off the day at 10 a.m., before the U16s follow at 12:30 p.m. The U14s finish up with a 2 p.m. start.
