FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (February 14, 2026) – The New England Revolution concluded the 2026 preseason with a 6-1 win over USL Championship side Hartford Athletic on Saturday afternoon at the Revolution Training Center. The two teams played three 45-minute periods, with New England featuring five different goal scorers in Leo Campana, Carles Gil, Eric Klein, Alhassan Yusuf, and Allan Oyirwoth.
Campana netted a brace in today's victory to finish the preseason with five goals scored across the five friendlies. The Ecuadorian forward opened the scoring in the 21st minute and doubled the lead seven minutes later, heading home a corner kick from Gil. In the 48th minute, Gil scored from the penalty spot to post a goal-and-assist performance.
Hartford converted a penalty in the 68th minute to cut into the deficit, which stood at 3-1 after 90 minutes. Revolution Head Coach Marko Mitrović deployed 11 substitutes ahead of the final session. Klein extended the lead in the 106th minute, ushering a ball over the line at the back post following a Jackson Yueill corner kick. Three minutes later, fellow Homegrown Player Malcolm Fry juked a defender in the box and slotted a pass to Yusuf for New England's fifth goal. Two minutes later, Oyirwoth closed the scoring with a headed goal, assisted by Ilay Feingold.
The Revolution will train in Foxborough all next week before opening the 2026 MLS regular season next Saturday night at Nashville SC (8:30 p.m. ET). All MLS matches are available to watch on Apple TV, or listen on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
