Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. ET at Fortress Obetz, and the match streaming live on MLSNEXTPro.com and One Football, with Jacob Adams on the call.
New England closes out the regular season with two consecutive road matches as it looks to strengthen its position in the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs race. Revolution II picked up a point away from home last weekend, battling Carolina Core FC to a 2-2 draw. Friday’s contest featured a brace from forward Marcos Zambrano, while midfielder Javaun Mussenden added an assist.
Through two appearances with Revolution II, Zambrano has registered three goals. In Friday’s draw, the Ecuadorian opened his account with a highlight-reel strike from a set piece, which was nominated for MLS NEXT Pro Goal of Matchweek 27, and later scored a short-lived goal-ahead goal.
Mussenden, who collected his fourth assist of the season last Friday, has been a steady presence in New England’s midfield throughout the campaign. The Revolution Academy graduate has started 19 of his 20 appearances and owns a career-high five goal contributions this season. Homegrown Player Cristiano Oliveira continues to pull the strings in the midfield, as the Somerville, Mass. native has started each of Revolution II’s last eight contests and ranks sixth in MLS NEXT Pro with 48 key passes.
New England’s leading attacker, Myles Morgan, enters Sunday’s fixture looking to become the club’s single-season goals leader. In his debut campaign with Revolution II, the Canadian forward has tallied 13 goals, tied for third most in the league's 2026 Golden Boot Race. Morgan also leads New England with 87 shots, including 34 on target, ranking fourth and fifth in the league, respectively.
On the defensive end, New England continues to lead MLS NEXT Pro with only 94 shots on target allowed this season. Center backs Gabe Dahlin and Jake Shannon have been mainstays along the backline, with both defenders appearing in 22 matches. Dahlin enters Sunday’s contest seeking his 50th career MLS NEXT Pro appearance, while Shannon looks to build on his team-leading 36 clearances.
New England looks to post its first victory over Columbus Crew 2 this season on Sunday. In the two sides’ previous meetings, Columbus earned a narrow 2-1 victory on April 18 before the Eastern Conference foes battled to a 2-2 draw on July 15.
