U-14 v EMP 11

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution Academy continued its 2021 MLS NEXT Fall season with all four Academy teams on the road to face New York Soccer Club and Cedar Stars Academy over the weekend.

The U-15s, U-17s, and U-19s each went 1-1 while the U-14s went 1-0-1 on the weekend. The U-19s wrapped up their fall schedule, notching a 1-0 shutout in their first game vs. NYSC, and falling 4-1 to Cedar Stars Academy on Sunday. They stand at 7-2-2 heading into the break. The U-17s also shutout NYSC 4-0, and fell vs. Cedar Stars Academy 3-2.

The U-15s put up similar results, winning 5-1 vs. NYSC, and falling 2-0 vs. Cedar Stars Academy. The U-14s remain unbeaten on the season with a 10-0-2 record. They tied NYSC 2-2 on Saturday before dominating on Sunday with a 6-1 victory vs. Cedar Stars Academy.

The U-14s are back in action this weekend, travelling to Mendon, Mass. to face NEFC and returning home on Sunday to face FC Boston Bolts. The U-15s and U-17s will both be on the road to face Philadelphia Union on Saturday and D.C. United on Sunday. Click here to learn more about the New England Revolution Academy. Revolution MLS NEXT & Alumni Highlights

  • Forward Jason Zacarias (2004 – Billerica, Mass.) scored the lone goal on Saturday, leading the U-19s to a win vs. New York Soccer Club.
  • Forward Triton Beauvois (2003 – Malden, Mass.) tallied his team-leading fifth goal and second game-winning goal of the season with the U-19s on Sunday vs. Cedar Stars Academy.
  • Goalkeeper Kevin Christensen (2006 – Natick, Mass.) earned his first clean sheet and forward Carl Laurent (2005 – Miramar, Fla.) scored his first two goals of the season on Saturday, leading the U-17s to a 4-0 victory over New York Soccer Club.
  • Forward Tito Nichols (2007 – Milton, Mass.) recorded two goals and one assist on Saturday, as the U-15s posted a 5-1 victory vs. New York Soccer Club.
  • Forward Luka Hislop (2007 – Concord, Mass.) notched two goals on Sunday for the U-14s in their 6-1 win over Cedar Stars Academy, helping the team improve to 10-0-2 on the season.
  • Midfielder Joe Buck (2002 – Arlington, Mass.) tallied his first collegiate goal for Georgetown, a last-minute winner in the Big East semifinals en route to a conference title for the Hoyas.
