Academy Highlights | Youth teams begin MLS NEXT spring season with four-game sweep of FC Boston Bolts

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution Academy got back to work last weekend as the MLS NEXT spring season kicked off at Gillette Stadium. All four Academy teams secured wins against FC Boston Bolts on Sunday. The U-14s, U-15s, and U-17s all won by a score of 4-1 while the U-19s won their match 5-1.

Revolution Academy teams will face a schedule dominated by other MLS youth teams as the MLS NEXT season continues this weekend. The U-19s are set to face Cedar Stars Academy – Bergen at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, while the U-17s and U-15s hit the road to face Atlanta United FC and Charlotte FC. The U-14s will travel to take on Bayside FC on Sunday.

Revolution MLS NEXT & Alumni Highlights

  • U-19 forward Triton Beauvois (2003 – Malden, Mass.) recorded a hat trick, scoring all three goals within 50 minutes.
  • U-17 forward Isaie Louis (2005 – Everett, Mass.) scored two goals, his sixth and seventh of the 2021-22 MLS NEXT season.
  • U-15 forward Peyton Miller (2007 – Unionville, Conn.) also scored two goals, extending his team lead to 13 on the season.
  • Midfielder Jaime Vega Espinosa (2007 – Cambridge, Mass.) and forward Mesud Ramic (2008 – Weare, N.H.) each tallied two goals to lead the U-14s to their 4-1 victory.
