A trio of Homegrown teenagers patrolled midfield for the New England Revolution on Saturday night at Audi Field, but 17-year-old Noel Buck was the standout performer, scoring the game-winning goal in the 88th minute of the Revolution's 2-1 win over D.C. United. That showing earned Buck a spot on the MLS Team of the Matchday presented by Audi, after the Arlington, Mass., native appeared on the Team of the Matchday bench following the season opener in Charlotte.

With the game poised to end in a 1-1 draw as full time approached, Carles Gil's corner kick was only half cleared by the D.C. defense, and Buck stepped into a shot from the top of the box, aided by a deflection as the ball found its way inside the post. It was the second goal of Buck's young MLS career in just his 12th appearances and eighth start.

Buck has started all five games to begin the season, and along with Esmir Bajraktarevic (18) and Jack Panayotou (18), made club history on Saturday night at Audi Field as the Revs started three players aged 18 or younger for the first time.

The first-place Revs (4-1-0, 12 pts.) will be back in action this Saturday night at Gillette Stadium, where they'll look to maintain their perfect home record with New York City FC coming to Foxborough. That match begins at 7:30 p.m. ET and is available to watch for free on the Apple TV app, while radio listeners can catch the local call on 98.5 The Sports Hub or sync the home audio on Apple TV.
