There will be a pair of New England Revolution representatives at Wednesday night's MLS All-Star Game presented by Target, as forward Gustavo Bou and goalkeeper Matt Turner will be part of the MLS All-Star Team that takes on the LIGA BBVA MX All-Star Team at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. Pregame coverage begins at 9 p.m. ET on both FS1 and Univision, with kickoff slated for 9:38 p.m. ET.

Midfielders Carles Gil and Tajon Buchanan were also named to the MLS All-Star Team, but won't be available for Wednesday night's game. Gil has missed the Revolution's last five games while recovering from injury, while the club announced on Tuesday that Buchanan has been transferred to Belgian side Club Brugge, although he will remain with the Revs for the remainder of the 2021 season.

Turner participated in Tuesday night's MLS All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T 5G, taking part in the Cross & Volley Challenge presented by AT&T 5G, the Touch Challenge presented by Old Spice, and the Crossbar Challenge presented by Gillette. LIGA MX secured a dramatic victory in the competition.

Backstopping the league-leading Revolution, Turner boasts a remarkable 11-2-4 record and four shutouts on the season. Including his stellar run with the U.S. Men's National Team to the Concacaf Gold Cup title, Turner is unbeaten in his last 11 games at both the league and international levels.

Bou (12 goals) is a contender for the MLS Golden Boot as he trails current leader Raul Ruidiaz of Seattle (14) by just two goals. The MLS Player of the Month for July, Bou has registered 11 goals and three assists in his last 15 appearances.
